We see the Nature of our work as a mission to ignite; to kindle and to establish what we see as a “Virtuous Cycle” between the “Market” and “The Firm” which, in our view, constitutes the crux of what the “New Institutional Economics” is pointing us to, based on our understanding about the thoughts of the various masters in that school of Economic Thoughts which is really about bringing Economics back to the roots as established by Adam Smith, in our view.
And if the profound insights and wisdom of Adam Smith and the New Institutional Economics provide us with the blueprint, then it is John F. Kennedy’s words and actions which provide us with the inspiration and passion to put these thoughts into action.
And we are of the view that the idea of putting a trial to the full version of Adam Smith’s ideas might well be one of the few ideas in life that we just do not ask too much on whether it is worthwhile or feasible but rather, we might just say: Let us begin and try to find the ways to work out how. Hence comes our Transforming Hong Kong Endeavour and our invitation to join with us.

The Hong Kong Heritage takes the view that the University and the small and medium sized enterprises have significant contribution to make to the society and would use the ideas of Adam Smith to help on this and hence would see the successful relaunch of The OXSIGHT as its most important immediate task.
