Hong Kong in the context of Humanities

While not large enough to occupy even a tiny little spot in the map of the world, yet Hong Kong could have relevance to the Humanities in at least the 5 following ways:
As a political economy experiment on how the ideas and thoughts of Adam Smith may be put into practice and how an “Adam Smith city” could be like
As an example on how a society may absorb, adapt and blend the cultures and values of both the West and the East and in the process of which, also come to create some cultures of its own
As an illustration that Virtues could be Created out of Necessity; and that such innovations created out of the necessity to survive could well be of inspiration and reference value to quite many others
As a creative and constructive force in terms of identifying, preserving and making productive use of heritages in this world
As a creative and constructive force in terms of major issues of importance to Humanities in the years to come, which can range from a global standard on ESG to development of cities, the ways real estate play in the development of the city/ economy etc.
